Giannis Tzitzas: A contemporary photographer that loves technology!
From your point of view, what makes a good picture?
The fact is that most images tell some kind of personal moment between me and the model. I feel connected and i beleive to people relationships.
Since the photography techniques and equipment change quickly, it is important to stay up-to-date. What do you do to always keep up with the times?
The right approach for me for a 2020 photographer is to be a follower of photography websites and social media platforms.
What do you think is the difference between a professional photographer and any other hobby photographer?
The first one is business and the second one just a hobby but they are really good! I don’t worry about it and i want people to have the choice to choose free.
Which one is your favorite lens and why do you prefer it?
I am a portrait photographer so i mostly use telephotos from 70mm to 200mm beacause making faces look beautiful but the best bet is to have a combination lenses for every situation.
Is there any other photographer that you considers as a kind of idol?
Nina Mašić is a Bosnian . Her beauty images are breathtaking, and she has high-end retouching skills.
What, in your opinion, is most important to consider while shooting portrait pictures?
Above all the facial expressions with the eyes first are indeed the window to the soul. Eyes can inspire me to see throught my lens.
Which editing software do you usually use?
Capture one pro is possibly the best for my work combined with adobe applications.
As how good would you describe your skills in that software?
I usually work with advanced techniques but i never stop watching online tutorials to keep me up to date with the newest features.
